This is about how classical my work gets. I’ve used an old-fashioned technique to make the sides. I’ve learned it many years ago but never really applied it. A strip runs along the panels to give the sides their inward pleat. The technique makes for a cute and sturdy model.
The handle-attachment on the other hand is typical for my work. You can see earlier versions of the idea in for example the Sunny. The flap does not only close the bag, but creates a small hidden pocket too.
Rêve is French for dream as this design came to me in a dream. And doesn't she have some French elegance too?
Dimensions: 21 x 13 x 11 cm. There are two small pockets and a detachable shoulder strap. Closure is with a blind magnet.
