This is about how classical my work gets. I’ve used an old-fashioned technique to make the sides. I’ve learned it many years ago but actually never applied it. A strip runs along the panels to give the sides their inward pleat. The technique makes for a cute and sturdy model.
The handle-attachment is typically mine of course. You can see earlier versions of the idea in for example the Sunny. The flap does not only close the bag, but creates a small secret pocket too.
Rêve is French for dream as this design came to me in a dream. And doesn't she have some French elegance too?
Dimensions: 21 x 13 x 11 cm. There are two small pockets and a detachable shoulder strap. Closes with a blind magnet.
