This backpack I made because I needed one for my hikes. The design is minimalistic and functional. There are some inside pockets and a pocket that you see on the front. It has a small compartment to hold a card, a train card in my case, as that is how I like to travel to the starting point of a route.
The trail I'm currently walking with my partner is called 'Pieterpad'. That's where the name comes from. Pieter is pronounced almost the same as the English name Peter.
The bag is made of vegetable tanned leather, meaning plant material (bark) was used in the tanning process.
